Temple EDC, Chamber, and Workforce to Host Manufacturing Day Job Fair, October 3

Temple EDC, Chamber, and Workforce to Host Manufacturing Day Job Fair, October 3

This October marks the fifth anniversary of Manufacturing Day events in Temple.

Temple, TX (September 25, 2025) — Manufacturing is a key industry in Temple, representing nearly 10% of the city’s workforce. In October, the Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC), the Temple Chamber of Commerce, and Workforce of Central Texas will recognize Manufacturing Day for the fifth time, celebrating the companies and workers who have helped power the city’s growth and offering job seekers the opportunity to jumpstart new careers.

On Friday, October 3, Temple EDC, the Temple Chamber, and Workforce of Central Texas will host the Manufacturing Day Job Fair from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Workforce of Central Texas Temple office in Santa Fe Plaza, 201 Santa Fe Way, Temple, TX 76501.

“Manufacturing Day is about more than products; it’s about building futures.” Linda Angel, President and CEO of Workforce of Central Texas, said. “By connecting students and job seekers with local manufacturers, Temple’s Manufacturing Day is showing them the innovation, teamwork, and career opportunities waiting for them. Investing in this talent pipeline today ensures that Central Texas remains competitive in future advanced manufacturing endeavors.”

Job seekers will be able to meet with employers including Delta Centrifugal, Novolex (Pactiv Evergreen), Temple Machine Shop, Palladio Industries, Polar Beverages, Revol Greens, Reynolds, StarCorr Sheets, Sunbelt Solomon, and SeAH Superalloy Technologies. In previous years, the Manufacturing Day Job Fair has attracted three to four hundred visitors looking to connect with participating companies, discover job opportunities, and evaluate if a career in manufacturing might be right for them.

The manufacturing industry in the Temple Metro area expanded from 7,693 jobs in 2014 to 8,450 in 2024, an increase of nearly 10%. The industry is expected to grow another 8.6% by 2034. Likewise, earnings for workers in the manufacturing sector are predicted to grow by more than 45% over the same period.

Manufacturing companies have thrived in Temple for decades, and new companies like SeAH Superalloy Technologies continue to be drawn to the area. The city is an ideal location for manufacturing for a myriad of reasons, including its strategic location between Austin and Dallas, access to infrastructure, and pro-business climate.

Temple EDC, the Temple Chamber of Commerce, and Workforce of Central Texas hope that this event will inspire members of the Temple community to pursue prosperous careers in the city’s manufacturing industry.
